Mirror

It’s recognition, witnessing, truth-telling. Mirrors don’t distort; they show what is. They enable self-knowledge through external reflection—knowing yourself by being truly seen.
Shape (What it is)
Section titled “Shape (What it is)”- Reflective surface: capacity to show back clearly.
- Recognition field: mutual seeing between self and other.
- Truth-telling function: shows what is, not what’s wished for.
Test: If it distorts, flatters, or obscures, it is not Mirror—it’s illusion or fog.
Motion (How it moves)

Present → Witness → Recognize
- Present: offer self to be seen.
- Witness: hold clear, undistorted reflection.
- Recognize: see yourself in the reflection offered.

Micro-Recursions

Ethics (What it refuses)

- Withholding: refusing to reflect what’s truly there.
- Cruelty: showing truth without compassion.
Rule: Mirrors must be clear and kind—show truth, but hold it with care.
